"Zapatista" Film Tour This Fall

The National Commission for Democracy in Mexico is helping organize a national tour for this film in early fall. These screenings will serve as fundraisers in which proceeds will be split 50/50 between the Zapatista communities and the young film makers who still owe a large sum of money for the film. We encourage people to reserve large venues in order to accommodate as many as possible from all sectors. We will also consider multiple screenings in one city if your planning committee is able to arrange showings at different venues such as community centers, universities, theaters, etc. If you are interested in hosting a premiere screening of the film Zapatista in your community, please contact us as soon as possible.

We are looking forward to hearing from you and hope to use this film as a tool to raise consciousness of the Zapatista reality and of our own.

In the spirit of peace with dignity,
Anjanette NCDM
